Saint Rozé

Born in Santa Rosa, California and raised in the Capital city of Sacramento, Saint Rozé experienced the best of both worlds. She was raised in a Mexican Spanish household listening to Selena, Vicente Fernandez and Daddy Yankee. Roze was also heavily influenced by the Bay Area’s ‘hyphy’ movement in the early 2000’s by arist such as Mac Dre, E-40 and Mistah Fab. However, Roze’s all time favorite rappers are Tupac Shakur, Immortal Technique and Jean Grae whose passion for truth and justice are aligned with her shared experiences of poverty, injustice and street violence. This what drew her to writing poetry and raps as a teen. Although she had obstacles, she was the first in her family to graduate college and began to take her music skills more seriously, she is now ready to make her mark in music history.
